Two TSUians ranked third in the October 2023 Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examinations per the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission this afternoon (October 27).
Joshua R. Maniti and Nikkitta M. Collado, cum laude graduates of BS Electronics Engineering last July 2023, received a rating of 87.20% and 93.00% in the ECE and ECT boards, respectively.
Tarlac State University's first-time takers in the ECE board exam recorded an 85.71% rating. The institutional passing rate is 50% against the 33.36% national passing rate.
Meanwhile, in the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination, TSU garnered a 100% passing rate among its first-time takers, while the institutional passing rate reached 90.91%. The ECT national passing rate is 73.52%.
TSU now has an additional seven electronics engineers and ten electronics technicians.
