TSU participates in City Gov’t Forum on COVID-19
A Tarlac City Government forum concerning COVID-19 precautionary measures was attended by Tarlac State University, represented by University President Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, along with other community stakeholders.


A Tarlac City Government forum concerning COVID-19 precautionary measures was attended by Tarlac State University, represented by University President Dr. Myrna Q. Mallari, along with other community stakeholders.
The said forum was held at the Kaisa Convention Hall, Tarlac City on March 16, 2:00 in the afternoon.
Speakers of the forum include epidemiologist Dr. Consortia Lim-Quizon and Provincial Health Officer I Dr. Jeanette A. Lazatin who both explained the coronavirus disease, precautionary measures, and COVID-19 protocols.
During the open forum, President Mallari reassured the community that e-learning and other alternative methods such as text messaging will be employed by the university to administer classes during this national emergency. This is in response to a query on possible prolonged suspension of classes.
She added that classes may be extended or the school calendar may be adjusted according to a message from the Commission on Higher Education. [Office of Public Affairs]
