Accounting Unit

QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT, AND HEALTH AND SAFETY (QEHS) OBJECTIVES

The Accounting Unit aims to:

1.1   Produce information concerning past operations and present financial condition of the university.

1.2   Provide a basis for guidance in decision making and for future operations.

1.3   Provide an accounting system in the receipt, disposition and utilization of funds and property.

1.4   Report the financial positions and results of operations of the university for the information of all persons concerned. Advise the University President on the status of cash and such other accounting       reports and statements as basis for decision making.

1.5   Provide such data as may be required from time to time by the University management, Department of Budget and Management, Commission on Audit, and the Department of Finance.
